Saturday afternoon (Taken with Instagram at Brody’s Kingdom)

I had my 500mm Sigma zoom lens all set to shoot the Enterprise as it came up the Hudson with the Empire State Building in the background. Instead, it came a bit from the west after circling the Statue of Liberty, popped over a cliff about 60 yards south of my home and was suddenly on top of me. I had to roll the zoom all the way back to 200mm to get it in the frame. But what an amazing sight.

How is it? Hot enough that Brody sat down halfway through our walk and refused to go any farther, and, as soon as we got home, flung himself on the AC vent. (Taken with instagram)
