Day of Contrasts

Two bits of raw video popped up this morning that were jarring in their contrasts: One from the protests in Cairo and one from a wild celebration in Bloomington, Ind. I’m not suggesting judgment; the videos simply stand as stark reflections of life at the moment in two societies (and, yes, the ad that precedes the video from Cairo is jarring in its own way given what follows it):
